Social Engineering is a euphemism for non-technical or low technology means used to achieve unauthorized access to enter a restricted area to potentially breach a valued system and the information that resides on that system. The engagement includes a combination of people, processes, procedures, and equipment to protect an organization’s resources. Coastline’s team evaluates the level of security that exists at the Client’s location(s) to validate that the proper controls are in place to protect its valuable assets and that these controls are in fact being followed.
Throughout the social engineering engagement, Coastline ensures transparency by providing the Client with a clear outline of the steps, processes, and methodologies employed. Our team meticulously documents and reports successful breach attempts, exploitable vulnerabilities, and other relevant data discovered during the assessment.
Upon completion of our assessment, we will provide you with a detailed report of the findings as well as best practice recommendations to enhance the security around your social engineering program. The deliverable will provide the Client with valuable information on the current state of the security that exists within the organization, the presence of vulnerabilities, and additional information on the level of risk each vulnerability represents.
